Join us for an inspiring Rosh Hashanah celebration in Oslo led by Rabbi Michael Paley, a distinguished scholar with a remarkable career in Jewish education and leadership. Rabbi Paley is currently a senior scholar for the JDC and the founding director of the Tarbut Fellowship in Budapest, Hungary.
His extensive experience includes serving as the scholar-in-residence at the UJA-Federation of New York, professor of Jewish Studies and Dean at Bard College, Vice President of the Wexner Heritage Foundation, and university chaplain at Columbia University and Dartmouth College. He also founded the Edgar M. Bronfman Youth Fellowship in Israel.
Rabbi Paley holds a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University, graduate degrees in Jewish and Islamic Philosophy and Science from Temple University, and received his rabbinic ordination from Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi.
