Join us for a unique ceramics workshop held over two Saturdays, where we will explore Jewish tradition and craftsmanship. This is a wonderful opportunity to create your own seder plate, an important element of the Jewish Passover celebration.
Program:
Day 1 (November 16th):
We will begin by crafting the seder plates from scratch. All participants will be guided through basic ceramic techniques.
Day 2 (November 30th):
On the second day, we will paint and decorate the seder plates. Rabbi Michael Paley will join us to explain the significance of the seder plate, the seder’s role in Jewish tradition, and why we perform this ritual meal.
After the workshop, we will celebrate with wine and light refreshments.
