Inspired by the Norwegian Christmas tradition of making homemade gifts right before the holidays, we decided to make a similar style Hanukah workshop. Around 50 young Jewish adults aged 20-45 gathered in the Jewish museum where we started the evening with an excellent introduction to the work of social entrepreneurs Beto Guzman, Parker Zaglin from Helsinki and Ayalet Gotlieb from the municipality of Tel Aviv. Followed by a workshop decorating high-end notebooks with already cut-out felt of Jewish symbols, animals and rhinestones. We served Israeli wine and Latkes. The evening ended late in the night and was a huge success.
